Crescent Point is currently seeking to fill the following position:

Job Title:  Environmental Coordinator
Location:  Swift Current, Saskatchewan
Reports to:  Supervisor, Health, Safety & Environment

The following will provide you with basic guidelines as to the duties required of this position.


The Environmental Coordinator will provide leadership, technical understanding and strategic analysis ensuring the company operates in compliance with government regulations and effectively manages its environmental liabilities. The candidate should reside in Swift Current area due to the location of the role.

Main Responsibilities & Activities:

  • Maintain regulatory and environmental reports
  • Identify and quantify environmental business opportunities related to company operations
  • Interpret phase I, II, and III reports as well as ground water modeling
  • Assist in development of environmental policy and environmental management systems
  • Provide leadership and support to all departments on environmental and regulatory matters
  • Ensure continual improvement of and provide oversight of environmental programs
  • Lead Crescent Point’s Spill Response program

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Degree in Environmental Sciences or Engineering is required
  • Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in reclamation and remediation
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities are required
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in: Microsoft Office and Site View applications
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are required
  • Previous project management experience is required
  • Must be familiar with field monitoring protocols and equipment
  • Knowledge of technical programs, research and trends in the practice of environmental investigation, control, and remediation would be an asset
