Crescent Point is currently seeking to fill the following position:

Job Title:  Junior Mineral Land AFE Administrator
Location:  Calgary, Alberta
Reports to:  Supervisor, Land Administration and Contracts

The following will provide you with basic guidelines as to the duties required of this position.


The Junior Mineral Land AFE Administrator will be responsible for the facilitation, administration and
management of the Land AFE process.

Main Responsibilities & Activities:

  •  Act as Crescent Point’s liaison with third parties regarding Independent Operations Notices
  • Use AFE Navigator to track the review and approval of AFE’s
  • Catalogue and track the receipt of third party Independent Operations Notices
  • Provide internal distribution of third party notices and related AFEs
  • Obtain signatures from area engineers and land negotiators
  • Ensure the timely response to third party Independent Operations Notices
  • Distribute company operated AFE’s to third parties for approval
  • Provide service of Independent Operation Notices to third parties and the tracking of responses in
    a timely manner
  • Input AFE information and well data into the CS Explorer land system
  • Conduct junior mineral land administration duties
  • Special projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Mineral lease certificate or diploma or Energy Asset Management diploma is required
  • Minimum 2 years of mineral and/or contracts administration experience is required
  • Must be highly organized with strong analytical skills and detail orientated
  • A strong team player with ability to prioritize and manage heavy workload
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to recognize time sensitivity and the importance of
    meeting deadlines
  • Knowledge of the CAPL Operating Procedures would be an asset
  • Strong working knowledge with: CS Explorer, AccuMap, Enerlink, AFE Navigator, Word, and
    Excel is required
