The Manor property is a large light oil property with 147 mmbbls of original oil in place and recovery to date of 13 percent. Crescent Point operates Manor and has a 100 percent working interest. Current production from the Manor area is approximately 2,300 boe/d.
Acquired in 2002, the bottom aquifer Manor property is one of Crescent Point’s original core properties. At the time of acquisition, Manor was producing about 575 boe/d. Through a series of strategic acquisitions and infill drilling, including the discovery of two new pools, the Trust has grown production to levels above 2,300 boe/d.
In 2008, at Manor, the Trust drilled 8 (6.2 net) wells, including 3 (2.5 net) 75 metre infill horizontal wells, as well as 2 gross (1.7 net) wells in the nearby Queensdale and Wauchope areas, adding over 500 boe/d of initial incremental light oil production with high netbacks. In February 2008, the Trust completed construction to tie in gas from North Manor, which added 550 mcf/d of interest sales gas. The Trust has an inventory of 48 low risk drilling locations at the property.
Independent engineers book a recovery factor of 20 percent at Manor as of year end 2008. Analog pool studies suggest that with additional infill drilling, recoveries could be increased to 25.4 percent, adding an incremental 8.1 mmboe of proved plus probable reserves over the coming years.
