Worsley, AB

The Worsley property is a large oil and natural gas property in northwest Alberta containing 32 mmbbls of original oil in place, of which less than 2.5 percent has been recovered to date. Crescent Point operates the property and holds a 96 percent working interest. The Trust’s share of production is approximately 1,200 boe/d.

Crescent Point first acquired an interest in the Worsley property in early 2006, and has consolidated the position with follow up transactions in 2006 and 2007. Independent engineers book a recovery factor of 11.9 percent as of year end 2006.

The Trust’s technical team believes that recoveries could potentially be increased to the 18.0 percent range through infill drilling and the implementation of a waterflood. A total of 4 (4.0 net) wells were drilled in 2007, achieving a 100 percent success rate and adding 200 boe/d.

Crescent Point's technical team has recently implemented a waterflood program into the Charlie Lake S, T and H&J pools, with the addition of a water source well and plans for waterflood expansions. Infrastructure and facility upgrades have also been completed to further enhance the fields peformance. Crescent Point has also identified several additional low risk locations and re-completion candidates.
